Bhringraj Hair Oil
Bhringraj (Eclipta prostrata) is named Keshraj in the classical texts: the King of Hair. Ayurvedic hair care has been built around this one herb for centuries, and the traditional way of preparing it has not changed. The herb is infused slowly into sesame oil until the oil carries its character.
Ingrediënten
Sesamum indicum Seed Oil, Eclipta prostrata Leaf Extract*. *Infused in sesame oil base. Contains sesame.
Bhringraj Hair Oil
This is that preparation, with nothing else added. Sesame oil is itself the classical base for hair oils, warming and penetrating in the traditional description, so two ingredients do the whole job: the scalp is nourished, the hair is conditioned and keeps a natural shine. Used once or twice a week before washing, this is the simplest form of Ayurvedic hair care there is.
Warm a small amount and work it into the scalp and hair. Massage in circular motions for ten to fifteen minutes, then leave in for at least thirty minutes, or overnight. Wash out thoroughly. Contains sesame. A patch test is sensible for sensitive skin.
For external use only. Not a substitute for professional medical advice.
